Alexander Robinson

Alexander Robinson, BAS(hons)

Alex has a strong design intuition and a passion for craft.
Every building project starts from a strong narrative – which is why he takes pride in bringing a clarity and rigour across all scales of design, from the larger picture down to the craft of materials and details. Alex’s specalties involve strong graphic representation, 3D modelling, digital fabrication, physical modelling, and various analogue crafts such as woodworking and casting.
Alex graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture, BAS(hons). Prior to joining SLA, he lived and worked in London (UK) for two years at PLP Architecture working on a variety of building types, primarily on 22 Bishopsgate. He also has a variety of experience from his cooperative experiences working on small houses and extensions in Melbourne (AUS) in 2015 with Bild Architecture, and a design build proposal for Emily Carr School of Arts in Vancouver with Zeidler in 2013.
