The Hub will be a privately owned and operated 256 bed student residence in close proximity to the Prince George UNBC and the College of New Caledonia campuses. This project will compliment and bolster the student housing options while attracting and accommodating a diverse student demographic. There will be approximately 10,000 sq.ft. of indoor amenity space, showcasing the use of mass timber, and a landscaped south facing courtyard along with a small and separate commercial component adjacent to the main building. This flexible commercial pavilion compliments the project by providing additional local amenities while providing small business opportunities on the site. The design aims to leave as much of the site undisturbed and seeks to nestle the building and its amenities, paths and gathering space into the existing forest.
